ABOUT US
Meet Miche, Founder of Marigold Grief
Based in Portland, OR, Miche McCausey provides compassionate end-of-life and grief companionship for children and adults nationwide. With a focus on helping families navigate difficult times, Miche offers tailored services to meet the unique needs of each family member.

Miche got their start as a death and bereavement specialist when a few personal and spiritual pathways overlapped with community need. Taking one curious and tender step at a time, Miche received certification as an End of Life Doula, a Pediatric End of Life Doula, a Miscarriage Doula and a Bereavement Doula. In addition to Marigold Grief services, Miche volunteers weekly at Portland’s Dougy Center, to facilitate peer grief support for children whose parent or caregiver has died.
While receiving doula certifications, Miche spent over two years as a teacher trainee of mindfulness and meditation. This is in addition to over a decade of personal study of philosophy, and as a mindfulness and meditation practitioner. Also a fine artist, Miche creates beautifully touching prints and paintings about death and grief as a tool to process their experiences in this work, educate, and to provide a tool for others to feel and share their own grief.
